By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Anakrio operates within the European Economic Area (EEA).

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Norway, including applicable EEA regulations.

solely for the purpose of operating, securing, and improving the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are solely responsible for your content.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us.

For users in the EU, EEA, and Norway, personal data is processed in accordance with:

Applicable Norwegian data protection laws

For users in the United States, we process data in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.

11. Verified Badge & Optional Identity Verification

Anakrio may offer a Verified Badge to confirm that an account represents a real individual or legitimate organization.

11.1 Voluntary Verification

Identity verification is strictly voluntary.

Government-issued identification is not required to use the Service.

Identification will only be requested if a user voluntarily applies for a Verified Badge.

The Verified Badge is provided free of charge.

11.2 Human Review Only

Verification is conducted exclusively through manual human review.

No automated biometric profiling or facial recognition systems are used.

11.3 Purpose Limitation

Identification documents are processed solely to:

Confirm authenticity
Prevent impersonation
Protect platform integrity

Identification documents are never:

Sold
Shared with advertisers
Used for marketing
Used for profiling

11.4 Immediate Deletion Policy

All identification documents submitted for verification are permanently deleted immediately after the verification process is completed, regardless of outcome.

Anakrio does not retain copies of identification documents after verification is finalized.

11.5 Misrepresentation

Submitting falsified or manipulated identification may result in permanent account suspension.

12. Account Deletion & Termination

You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.

Upon account deletion:

Your profile and associated personal data will be removed from active systems.
Certain information may be retained where required by law, security purposes, fraud prevention, or legitimate business interests.
Public content you have posted may remain visible but may be anonymized where appropriate.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Deletion does not automatically remove content that has been shared or reposted by other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts where:

These Terms are violated
Required by law
Necessary to protect users or platform integrity

Certain provisions survive termination, including liability limitations and dispute clauses.

13. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited under Norwegian, EU, or applicable U.S. law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Indirect damages
Loss of profits
Loss of data
Business interruption

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) within the previous 12 months.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anakrio from claims arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your content
Your violation of these Terms or applicable law

16. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated where legally required.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
