What we hold about you
Your license record
Name, email address, a hash of your license key plus a short hint made of its first and last block, license status, expiry date, how it was created, how many times it was renewed and verified, the time of the last check, and the IP address used when the license was created. We keep it until you ask us to delete it.
Renewal links
A hash of each one-time renewal link, its expiry time and the IP address that requested it. They stop working after 30 minutes and are cleaned up automatically.
Abuse-prevention counters
Short-lived technical counters that limit how often a network or email address can use the forms. They expire on their own.
Emails we send
Your license and renewal messages go through our mail provider so that they can be delivered. We send no newsletters or marketing.
Administrator notes
If one of our administrators created, extended or revoked your license by hand, an entry in our admin audit log may mention your email address. We keep that log for security and accountability.
Good to know
- Deleting your data ends your license. Your key stops working and cannot be restored. You can register again later and receive a new key.
- We may need to keep a minimal record that a request was handled, and entries in our security audit log, to protect the service and to meet legal obligations. Server backups, if any, age out on their normal cycle.
- Removing Anakrio from your PC or choosing Deactivate under Settings, License only affects that computer. It does not delete your record on our side.
- If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
